My mother played softball her whole life. She signed me up for T-ball when I was 4. Since then it has been my dream to be a professional softball player. I've been taught to focus on my grades and sports. I work hard at school, practice, games, and at home helping my family.
My goal, as I start my Junior year in high school, is to graduate with my 5.0, and study towards my undergraduate degree in BSN.
During my high school career I have enjoyed playing softball, track, and volleyball. I've enjoyed being an athlete and keeping my GPA high.
I've learned over the years that softball is a huge team sport and strong family of sisters. You cannot rely on yourself or just one player when we step on the field. There are 9 positions on that field, and each position matters.
When it comes to softball I take pride in being quick in the field and on the bases. As a utility I have played every position with confidence and made it my goal to know my team can trust me to cover any spot needed. In the outfield, I will go as far as I need to catch a ball, even if that means diving. I'm not afraid to get dirty, I am aggressive at any position infield or outfield, and will do anything to get the play needed. At the same time I am always learning and striving to be better than I was the day before.
