Emmie Nyen '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Emmie Nyen and I am currently a junior at Durand High School. My goal for college is to be able to further my education and continue to play the sport I love at a higher level. For 10 years, softball has taught me how to build strong relationships, overcome obstacles, and push myself to become the best that I can be both at school and on the field. I believe that academics comes first and I am a very hardworking and driven student as my grades and extracurricular activities can show. I also acquire those traits on the field, as well as, being able to lead by example and push my teammates to their full potential. Being a student-athlete is difficult, but I have continuously been able to step up to the challenge, and excel. I want to be able to showcase my talents and pursue a career in criminology. While continuing to build the strongest connection I can with the sport that has always kept me going.
