My name is Elizabeth (Liz) Sidler, and I am a junior at Lincoln-Way East High School in Frankfort, Illinois. As an undergraduate, I plan to major in exercise science and minor in business; my longer-term goal is to earn a doctorate in physical therapy. I am also passionate about sports. I know that proper body mechanics and appropriate injury recovery methods enable athletes to play a sport well and for many years. Someday, I hope to work with athletes as a physical therapist and help them play the game they love.
Softball is my passion; I have been playing competitively since grade school and I would like to continue to play at the collegiate level. I am extremely coachable, mentally tough, and I have good softball instincts. I love being part of a team and I understand that every player contributes to that team’s success. As a student-athlete, I have learned self-discipline and accountability. I am responsible for my studies, daily strength training, and numerous practices and drills. I challenge myself by taking honors and advanced placement courses, and I push myself to get stronger, quicker, and play better softball. I would love to be part of a college softball team at any level.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
