Commitment, flexibility, ownership, and perseverance are just a few characteristics that I've learned through playing softball, and would use to describe myself. These characteristics I've learned through a game I love to play and have been able to apply in my everyday life. I began playing competitive softball when I was 7 years old. Softball has taught me a lot of valuable life lessons, especially how to handle adversity. I feel my coaches look to me to be a leader on and off the field.
Academics is a very important piece of my decision in where I will attend college. As a junior in high school looking ahead, my interests at this time are athletic training, exercise science, occupational therapy or physical therapy. I also have interest in coaching. It is my goal to continue being a student-athlete at the collegiate level.
