Grace Wallner '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to play for a good school with a fun, hardworking atmosphere. I am a good candidate for that type of team in the sense that I want to work hard at every practice and game, but have a good time doing it! On the field, I am a leader for my team, I hustle, and I never let myself be beat mentally. In addition, I am a consistent hitter and can always be counted on for a clutch hit. Off of the field, I work hard in school to stay on top and to manage my time wisely with youth group, basketball, and being a lifeguard. My coaches, family, and teammates would describe me as a persistent player with a big heart for the game, and tell you that I never stop smiling! My grandpa once described me as a “grinder,” or someone who works without fail for what they want. Ultimately, I want to be able to play softball at the collegiate level, and I’m willing to keep going until I do!
