I love Softball and try to get better each and every day. My dad coached my teams from the age of 8yrs old until I was 15 yrs old. I feel this was great for my development on and off the field because dad always seemed to know just how hard to push me to be my best. He also taught me how important it is to be a team first player and understand that the coach has ”all of these pieces of a puzzle to put together each year and it’s the coaches job to put the puzzle together, it’s the teams job to work and fit great together.” My coach for 16u-18u teams is Derek Owen. He has been terrific as a head coach and extremely helpful in developing my softball skill. He encourages all of the the kids to play as many positions as possible and since joining his team I have done it all except pitch! My dad would have me pitch occasionally for his teams and it just isn’t really for me.
My passion is enviormental preservation and want to study at a college that will help me realize my dream of contributing answers how to promote and sustain cleaner more healthy planet earth.
