Personal Statement

I am a softball player that has started on varsity for two years. During my freshman year, I received the 2nd team in the Big Northern Conference. During my sophomore year, I received the 1st team in the BNC, and in the Illinois Valley All-Area Team. In travel ball this past summer, I earned four MVPs. I am a three-sport athlete. Being a team leader has made me a captain five times in my three years of high school.  I was chosen to be the Varsity Softball Captain this year. I have a 3.81 GPA and was nominated and chosen for the National Honor Society. I may not be 100% certain about my degree but I would like to pursue a University with an outstanding academic and athletic environment that will challenge me in the classroom and out on the field. I strongly feel that my athletics and personality will have a positive impact on a team. My hard work and dedication to strive for my goals to pursue a DI, DII, or an NAIA level while still being interested in DIII.

Thank you,

Jenna O'Donnell (class of 2021)

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
