Austin Baker '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to graduate college with a degree in Veterinarian Medicine. I enjoy working with all types of animals, but hope to focus more on large animals. What makes me a good candidate for a team would be that I am a very versatile player. My main positions are pitcher and 3rd base, but I can play anywhere. I am also a team player and understand that there will be days when I'm not at my best no matter how hard I try and that just shows that I need to work harder the next day. What makes me different from other recruits is that I am always willing to work harder no matter the circumstance. I try to always be positive and bring other people up as well. I also care a lot about my academics and understand that they come before anything.
