Hi, My name is MaryJane Goodman and I am a 2022 graduate from Harold L. Richards HS in Oak Lawn IL. My love of softball began at the age of 5 and has grown ever since. What is important to me in softball is being coachable, being a team-player and always giving more than 100%. I have a very explosive swing and I stay on ball well through my entire swing. I have a high softball IQ and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates.
As a freshman and sophomore, l was able to balance being a starter on varsity, my AP and honors classes, extracurriculars and my travel team while still maintaining a GPA above a 4.0. I feel I have the determination and will to maintain my grades while playing the sport I love to get to the next level. I hope to pursue a career in the medical field with a concentration in engineering. This year I finished with a 4.7 GPA and a class rank of 28 of 419. I also participated in the Leo's Club, where I regularly volunteered at local community events.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the softball field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at a competitive level. I hope to find my second family and contribute to our team goals.
