Sarah Pena '20 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing ball since I was able to hold up a bat and throw a ball. I have been playing travel since I was 11. I have always aspired to play softball my entire life, I don't play softball just for something to do, I play softball because I love to play and I can never get too much of softball because it just never gets boring to me. My goal is not to hit a home run or steal a home run in the field, my goal is much bigger then that, I have planned out so much of what I want to be when I grow up and it always came around to playing ball.  Even though there are probably girls better then me, stronger, and faster, I still believe in myself and want to pursue my dreams. I have been watching girls play softball for so long, watching how they bat and watching how they snag home runs in the outfield it just has always amazed me and I just hope some day to be in their shoes winning a world series or even winning state. I want to play softball and I am 110% committed to playing all my life.
