My ultimate goal is to attend a college where I can obtain a good education that will eventually lead me to a fulfilling career. Although I don't yet know what I want to major in, my current interests are sports medicine, ophthalmology, athletic training, and exercise science. I've always worked hard both in the classroom (where I have a current 4.2 cumulative GPA), on the practice field, and in the game (I've been starting varsity shortstop for my high school team since I was a freshman, where I was named to the 2016 Class 3A All-State Team, as well as receiving a Big-12 All Conference Honorable Mention, both as a freshman.)
I'm willing to work harder than necessary to be able to play softball at the college level and I continually push myself to be better at everything I do. It is my plan to be an asset to whatever college team I am fortunate enough to play for.
I am outgoing, personable, and have great leadership skills. I was selected and serve as Student Ambassador for my high school where my duties include going out into the community in various outreach programs to represent my high school and to assist in bringing more students to our school. I am team captain for my travel softball team for the second year in a row. I was also chosen to be the Co-Representative for Hits for the Cure for my high school team. Hits for the Cure is a nonprofit organization that raises money based on pledges per hit throughout the high school season and all the money goes to St. Jude Hospital.
I'm involved in several service organizations, including Key Club, Lumen Christi, and Teens for Life, and have found that by giving my time and talent to these organizations, I have become a better person.
I understand that everything I do reflects on my school and on my teams, and I always conduct myself with respect in every activity I participate.
