Personal Statement

I knew I wanted to play softball from the moment I was able to run around the bases. I have been playing for 8 years and I have always dreamt of continuing my softball career in college.  My softball abilities grow every season, game, and practice because I am always striving to be better. My drive, personal goals, coachable spirit, and competitive perseverance allow me to grow as an athlete.   One of the most important things I have learned from softball is how to work as a team.  Being part of a team is about combining all the talent and personalities into one system that can achieve a common goal.  Also, I have learned to be a leader by pushing my teammates to work hard by staying focused on our goal, committing to excellence, and maintaining effective attitude, effort, and energy.  I work hard 100% of the time, on and off the field. In the classroom, I take all the challenges I can by taking honors and AP courses.   I take a lot of pride in my school work and find it fulfilling to gain meaningful knowledge. In college, I want to learn and grow into a positive contributer to society.  My goal is to find a college where I can succeed on the field as well as in the classroom.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
