Since I began playing travel softball, I have wanted to compete at the collegiate level. The game of softball is my passion. I feel that I am capable of doing this because my work ethic is exceptional, especially when it comes to school work and softball. I always put 100% into school and softball. I strive to improve my fundamental softball skills both during practice, games, and outside of formal practices.
I feel I am strong on both sides of the game: batting and defense. I typically will bat in the fourth or fifth spot in the lineup and I mainly start at first base, but also have experience as catcher and third base. I strive to be both a Team player and Team leader.
I have a very competitive personality and enjoy continuing to improve my skills daily. I am very coachable because I love to learn new and different aspects surrounding softball. I am not one to let my emotions get in the way of my performance in any way. I set difficult goals for myself and never allow myself give up on them, whether they are short term or long term academic or athletic goals.
