Hello, my name is Annabella Picchi. I am a sophomore attending Romeoville High School. From my freshman year to current I am a starting infielder for the varsity softball team. Coming from a baseball/ softball family I have always loved the game since a very young age. I began to really be ome interested in the sport before making the decision of weather to play travel softball or club volleyball at age 11. Ever since I have made the decision, softball has been my main focus. While I am very dedicated to softball, school is also my main focus. For me as a student athlete I like to maintain the highest grades that I can possibly get. Through playing softball and even in school, one thing that I have learned about myself is that I am never satisfied with my results unless I know that I have tried my best, even if I tried my best and I did not succeed at first, at least I know I tried my very best and I can practice more. From having the opportunity to play on the Varsity team, the upperclassmen, my role models have showed me that being apart of a team means always being there for a teammate on and off the field, maintaining good sportsmanship, and simply having fun while playing the game!
