My name is Hailey Pedersen and I am a dedicated, hardworking 1st, 3rd and utility player for the Schaumburg Sluggers and St. Charles East High School. I have been working to improve my skills for 11 years now. I'll graduate from high school in 2022. I have played on high level teams that have challenged me to push myself every day. I will continue to play at a high level to keep me challenged to improve on my skills. Softball hasn't just taught me how to be a good player, it has taught me how to be a good person. I have learned how to be a leader and how to help others when they are down. It has taught me how to deal with my failures and celebrate my successes. Overall, softball has had a huge impact on my life.
In the classroom, I am just as dedicated. I work hard to keep up my GPA and keep up with my work. I push myself by taking challenging classes and working collaboratively with my classmates and peers. I keep up with my assignments and try my best on everything I do. Regarding college, I am looking into the medical field or education. I am open to any division and location of the school. I am looking forward to the college experience and pursuing my dreams.
