Hello coaches,
For the 22-23 School year, I will be a Junior at Morton HS in Hammond, Indiana. I am looking to pursue my passion for softball into my college years. My main positions are pitcher and outfield, I have currently been placed to play Shortstop & on occasion 2nd or 3rd base in my travel team and I am embracing and learning what I can in those positions. I am willing to endure and tackle any position that opportunity gives me. I am a coachable student and will work hard to learn more. Academically, I am working hard to continue my honors classes. My 8th grade year I was able to obtain 3 HS credits ( Spanish 1A &1B, and Preparing for College and Careers) that were transferable to the program that I was accepted in, at the Area Career Center in Hammond. The Area Career Center University is a High School in Hammond that is partnered with Vincennes University that gives the opportunity for High School students to graduate with an Associates Degree in their field of interest. Now that this program will be placed at my home school, Morton HS. I hope to continue this program throughout my years at Morton and able to graduate with an Associates degree my senior year. I hope you consider me and continue to view my growth throughout my next 2 yrs. Thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
