Personal Statement
Playing volleyball has always been one of my biggest passions next to my education. I consistently find happiness, growth, and mental therapy when I play volleyball. Playing volleyball has allowed me to pursue self-confidence, leadership, and the ability to overcome adversity. As a student, I have always stood before the crowd. My GPA has always been over the scale, and my astounding academics has led me to numerous academic opportunities that many people don’t get, in which I am grateful and blessed. As an athlete, I am the definition of determined. I put my mental state up for the challenge, and never stop working until I get what I’ve worked for. No matter how long it takes. Even if I don’t become the best player, I have progressed from my old self in which all that matters.
