I've played softball since I was 9. And pitched since I was 10. I love softball and am willing to work hard and compete.
I was adopted along with my 4 siblings at 8 years old. We were only in foster care for a year and a half which is not long at all. Because of this I've learned how to respect, protect, and love my siblings more than I would ever have ignored I didn't go through foster care and adoption. I known how to work with others very well and create strong relationships with others. I'm loyal to my freinds(teammates).
I am coachable. I can easily understand what is needed of me and change to be better or to meet the expectations of the coach. My twin sister and I have always been on the same team. As a pitcher/catcher combo. This has caused lots of problems and also fixed lots of problems in the long run. Obviously my sister and I don't always get along. Especially when we depend on each other as teammates. But because I've had to work with her as a teammate and not as a sister, it's taught me to work with even the toughest of people.
I am able and willing to work hard for my place on any team and I absolutely love to compete. I'm a good student. Usually all A's with a few exceptions. And I like school. I like the challenge of learning new things especially in the science department. And getting the higher grade always makes me feel good especially when it becomes a competition between my sister and I. Like most things do.
My willingness to work hard and love of competition is what keeps me going. That and my love for softball.
