Destiney Johnson '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Destiney Johnson, I am an incoming sophomore at Shelbyville Senior High School. I currently play for Indy Edge 06’ Strelow, I have played travel softball for going on 8 years. My top goal is to continue learning and to play softball at the collegiate level.  My main position is 2nd base  and my secondary position is 3rd base. Ultimately I love playing anywhere on the field. I love playing all around the field and contributing to my team as much as possible. I love competing and getting close to a team I consider family, just as much as anyone. I believe playing on a team means you show commitment and give 110% no matter how the weather is or how difficult it is.  I believe that I work hard and show leadership on and off the field.
