My name is Adysen Johnston, I am a military child so I move around a lot, currently, I am stationed in Italy. I am currently 15 years old and play high school softball as well and travel softball for an Italian team. Softball has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. The thrill of stepping onto the field, the rush of adrenaline as I swing the bat, and the satisfaction of making a great play all drive my love for the game. As I look towards my collegiate career, I am excited to continue pursuing my passion for softball and take my skills to the next level. My collegiate goals and aspirations revolve around becoming the best athlete I can be, both on and off the field. I aspire to contribute meaningfully to my team and help lead them to victory, all while maintaining a strong academic standing and developing as a person. I hope to continue growing as an athlete, honing my technical skills, and improving my game knowledge to become a valuable player for my team. I believe I am a good candidate for a college softball team for a multitude of reasons. Firstly, my dedication and work ethic set me apart from other recruits. I am constantly striving to push myself to be better, whether it be through extra training sessions, studying game tape, or seeking feedback from coaches and teammates. I am always looking for ways to improve and grow as a player, and I am willing to put in the effort required to achieve my goals. Moreover, I bring a strong sense of teamwork and leadership to the table. On the field, I am a vocal and supportive teammate, always cheering on my fellow players and offering encouragement when needed. I am not afraid to take charge and lead by example, stepping up in high-pressure situations to help guide my team towards success. Off the field, I am a reliable and responsible individual, always showing up on time and putting in the necessary effort to excel in both my athletic and academic endeavors. In terms of academics, I pride myself on maintaining a high GPA and excelling in my studies. I understand the importance of balancing academics and athletics, and I am committed to succeeding in both areas. I am a disciplined and organized student, able to manage my time effectively to juggle the demands of schoolwork and softball. I see my academic success as complementing my athletic achievements, as it demonstrates my ability to excel in all aspects of my life. Overall, I believe my combination of strong work ethic, leadership skills, and academic excellence make me a standout candidate for a college softball team. I am confident that I have what it takes to succeed at the collegiate level and make a meaningful impact both on and off the field. I am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead and look forward to showcasing my talents and contributing to the success of my future team.
