My name is Ruthie and I’m a high school senior right now. I plan on attending school to complete a doctorate degree in the field of sociology. On my high school softball team I feel like I’m meant to be in that sort of atmosphere. There is so much support to give and receive on a softball team. I love always having something to improve on. It allows me to prove to myself that I can do anything I put work into. I believe the atmosphere of a team shapes character in people. My entire life, I have strived to impact people for the better. With softball being incredibly impactful on your mindset in life, and how you view yourself and others, I would love to make that difference in a softball setting. I enjoy helping my teammates as much as myself. Softball relies on personal effort alongside team energy.
