Chelsia Larson '22 Recruiting Profile

My love and passion for softball started early in my life. I have been committed to improving my pitching skills since middle school. I continued to train myself until my high school coaches noticed my dedication to the sport, and began mentoring me in the winter of my freshman year. During the preseason before my freshman year, I had months of one-on-one training to modify and improve my pitching style. My dedication paid off freshman year when I set a new school strikeout record. Softball is a major part of who I am. My plan is to graduate high school ranked in my class for academics. Playing at the college level coincides with my upbringing to excel in school and my personal preference to excel on the field. I want to play at the college level because I have a passion for the sport, and ambition to be a team leader. I believe that when someone begins to lead in a positive direction people will follow, and I desire to be that person on and off the field.
