Hello, my name is Marissa, I am a 2023 graduate and catcher, I attend Collins-Maxwell High school in Iowa. Softball has been such a big part of my life because of all the relationships it has brought me and all the lessons it has taught me. Softball has shown me how to be resilient and strong during hard times but, it has shown what being a part of something great is like. I am involved in other athletics, such as volleyball, basketball, and track. Being a part of a variety of contrasting teams and groups has also taught me many different lessons from having new coaches to working together with numerous types of teams. All these qualities I have learned through softball and other sports I strive to use in my daily life.
Softball is very important, but so are academics. Good grades are a huge goal I strive to achieve and I understand that it will help me reach my goal of a career in sports management someday. I am looking for a college that can push me to be the best I can be in the classroom and on the field. I am willing to travel a good distance for college.
