Hello Coaches,
I would like to introduce myself, My name is Kayla McGhee. I am a Senior at Southeast Polk High School in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. My Current GPA is 4.15 and I will be graduating in the class of 2024. I play for the Minnesota Bombers 18u, and I am a lefty through and through. My primary position is catcher. I also play first base and I am willing to play other positions as needed. I believe in hard work and dedication to whatever I do, whether it is softball or academics. I am very detailed person, it can be shown through my swing and school work. Though at times it can work against me, therefore I have been working on finding ways to use it to my advantage, and learning when it is the time to be detailed and times when I should look more at the big picture. When I step on any field my goals are to be the best teammate I can be, and to have fun. Always reminding myself that this is a game, and to use my biggest muscle, my brain, to my advantage instead of tearing myself down. Lastly, is to glorify the one who saved me, Jesus Christ, shining His light wherever I go.
