Growing up I was almost always at a softball diamond. I started playing fast pitch softball when I was 8, and I played T-ball prior to that. The fact that softball has played such a big role in my life is one of my main reasons for wanting to play at the collegiate level. I try and push other players to their best ability because that pushes me to get better, an I stay positive through the ups and downs. My grades and performance in the classroom are as important to me as my performance on the field.
