My name is Braelyn Durham, I'm a Junior at Chaparral Jr/Sr High School located in Harper, KS. I'm a right-handed pitcher as well as a utility player. I have been playing club softball for seven years. The purpose of this statement is to express my desire and passion to pursue softball at the next level. Softball has already offered me many great and exciting opportunities. My ultimate goal is to play softball at the college level. I believe the only way to get better at something is by challenging and pushing yourself. This is why I find softball so appealing. Softball is not an easy game. I once heard that if softball was easy, everybody would play it. Softball is a game of precision, timing, and focus. No matter how challenging the things I face are, I'm willing to work through them and put in the time and work. I will work my hardest on and off the field. It is still very crucial to be a good player by also having good academics.
I look forward to extending my hard-work ethics beyond high school.
