Hello. My name is Sydnie Ferrant, a 2024 SS/C/Utility softball player from Covington, Louisiana. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and realized early on that I had a natural talent for the game. I soon developed an indescribable love and passion for the game that motivates me to work to be able to play at the highest level possible. Being an honor roll student as well as a coachable, versatile accomplished athlete I would be an asset to any program. One would find I am the voice of the team directing plays on the field and cheering on my teammates from the dugout. Besides softball I like to play volleyball and wakeboard. I usually enjoy any outside activity especially bike and boat riding.

- Began hitting lessons at the age of 8 and have been with same coach for weekly lessons the past 4 years. I also belong to local facility with cages where I put in extra work outside of team practices and lessons. I attend clinics and camps when available. In the shortened 2020 travel and high school seasons I had 8 homeruns and so far in 2021 I have 18 homeruns (14 high school, 4 travel).

- I attend clinics on catching when available. I have had a personal catching coach for 2 years. I also frequently catch for pitchers at a local facility for additional practice.

- I complete strength and training year-round. When school is in session I complete workouts during PE class and supplement outside of school for specific sport training. I attend a local strength group during the summers.

- In addition to hitting, catching and strength and conditioning I also take fielding lessons. At times its one-on-one and others in small group. I also attend camps and clinics whenever possible.
