Hi! My name is Elisabeth Cage but everyone calls me Lizzie, and when I graduate high school I plan to major in animal science to be able to become a veterinarian in the future! I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old. I mainly play pitcher and 3rd base, but I am able to play anywhere I'm needed. I have been to the world series twice, once with a travel softball team and once with my towns rec league. I played at the Minden Rec center for my entire life up until a year or two ago. I made it on the all stars and state teams every year besides one year. I have been a starter for as long as I can remember. I believe that I have a strong work ethic, and I have great communication. I love to help my teammates with whatever they need in regards to softball, and I believe I have a positive mindset. When pitching I don't get as distracted as most whenever I'm under pressure, and almost every single person you talk to about me will tell you that I work very well under intense pressure. Softball has always been a passion of mine and I hope to continue it throughout my college career. After high school I want to major in animal science, in hopes to become a veterinarian in the future, but I also hope to be able to coach softball or baseball, regardless if that is at a college level or a little league level.
