I started out on an all-star team in Tennessee playing softball when I was 7. Ever since then I just fell in love with the game and I realized that I want it to be part of my life on into my college years. Through playing this sport I realized that I was one of those people that didn't stop for anything even if there were people that tried to bring me down. Even though I may be doing softball 24/7 anyways whenever I have some free time and I'm at home alone I just go into the backyard and hit balls into a bow-net or sometimes I'll even get my dad to bring me to the field on the weekends that I don't have softball and hit balls to me. I am absolutely 110% determined to get better and play softball any chance I get.
Just like I have goals for softball, I also have goals for my academics. I am a straight A/B student and my plan is to study and put hard work into my grades so after my high school years I can go into college for Pharmacy. I have had to overcome some obstacles to get where I am now. I had to move to a whole different state for one but a month into that I was already back to playing softball. Some other obstacles I had to overcome were all the broken bones from softball but I was the girl still out on the field playing with a broken ankle or a broken wrist. I guess you could say those things toughened me up a bit though.
