Ashlyn Welch '21 Recruiting Profile

Playing team sports has been instrumental in the way I have developed patience, selflessness, and communication skills.  On a team each person has a role to play, and without that person’s contribution the team will fail. 

This dynamic also applies to learning in the classroom.  I have learned to bring other students together for a common cause by being a leader of my classmates and I have achieved great academic success.  On the field I have maintained a positive attitude and work ethic to help drive my team to playoff levels. 

I hope to continue to employ what I have learned on the field and in the classroom to achieve success at the collegiate level.  My dream is to play softball at a higher level as well as pursue my career as a pediatrician.
