Hello, name is Leah Hopson. I am so grateful that you have considered me in the process of recruitment. I have played softball for around ten years and started playing when I was seven. When I was signed up for sports it was only to be social; my parents nor did I know that this sport would have changed my life. Softball has taught me a tremendous amount of things about myself. There has been many life lessons in each game I have played. Not only has it helped me athletically, but also academically. It has shown me the importance of time and how to get things done when you have the chance to. The one monumental aspect of softball that has changed my life would be the friendships and the people I have met between games, on different teams, and the tournaments I have attended.
