The first time I ever stepped on a softball field,I knew this was the place I wanted to be. I started my first game at third base, a position I never played before. I caught the ball and tag the girl out at third. After that, I kept making the same play. For something I never did before, it was something I started to do everyday. I’ve grown as a athlete mentally & physical every since that game.
My academic goal is to make it through high school and study sports medicine in college. I’ve always wanted to be apart something in the medical field ever since I was six years old. I’m ready to balance out my academic and athletic work time. My strategy, dedication, and passion for this sport sets me apart from the other recruits. I put in extra time over the school year & summer too make sure I’m at my full potential at the beginning of every season. Through all this there were downfalls with my parents and there problems, but I learn too push through and forget all that once your in the classroom or on the field. This made me an better person and stronger athlete. Cheering on my fellow team mates, picking my head up, and making sure nobody gets let down is skills I exceed in. I keep my head held high and rub it off on others while there down. I know i have what it takes too compete at the next level and become a leader on your team!
