Softball has been a major part of my life since I could remember. The sport has taught me so much about teamwork, friendship, and leadership. I want nothing more than to walk out on the softball field representing my college, and my family. For the last 3 years I have managed to play on two travel softball teams, a travel club volleyball team, and play both those sports for my school while maintaining honor roll status. There is nothing I will not try to do to better myself on the field or in the classroom even if failure is imminent. I do not settle for just being good enough. Being a pitcher has made me a stronger person in all aspects of my life and taught me how to deal with pressure, constructive criticism and projected criticism. I can make split decision and will always take responsibility for the decision I make. My parents have taught me to lead from the front and do not except someone to do something you would not do. I will always choose to do what is best for my teammates rather than myself.
