Nyla Doiron '24 Recruiting Profile

This is Nyla Doiron. I am a class of 2024 and I play C/Utility . I hope all is well on your end.I like to consider myself as a great team player and a great teammate. I am very energetic and always have a smile on my face. I currently hold a 4.5 GPA. I am Student of the year for my school district 2023-24. As well as Heisman High School Scholarship school winner. LHSAA All Academic Volleyball team, Soccer Team ( Louisiana High School Athletic Association).  I take AP, DE and Honors classes. I am vice President for Beta Club as well as National Honor Society member. I was selected to be a mentor and am part of the leadership program at school. I am also member of “ student improvement committee“.  Besides school, some of my extra curricular activities are high school softball, soccer, and volleyball along with an extremely packed travel softball schedule. My sister and I strongly believe in giving back to the community, so we have been doing different things to give back to our community on our own for 4 years now. We have raised $700 last year and donated to the Zachary community school district, Special Ed program for school supplies (giving softball lesson and fundraising). We have donated toiletries during the holiday season for homeless shelters (we collect them through the year while traveling for softball). We have collected and donated clothes, etc. for Guatemala during hurricane season. We do food drives for our local food bank. This year for Thanksgiving my mom & I helped carved 700 turkeys to help prepare Thanksgiving meal for the most honorable people of our community at the Society of St. Vincent De Paul.  Being an active member of my church group allows me to spread the word throughout the community of fundraisers, donations, etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this email and I hope it finds you well.
