Hi, my name Is Valarie Craig I'm a junior at penquis valley high school, I started playing sports when I realized how overweight i was and I needed to get in control of my health so I tried soccer and then I tried out for basketball, lastly I tried softball and I absolutely loved it and never imagined myself loving and being so focused on sports and with this I lost so much weight and become so physically fit, I also love being part of a team because It is a good way to build a bound but its also competitive and I love to win but I also realize we do not always win and I have been told that being competitive is a good trait but it can also be a negative factor because I will beat myself up but now I realized with every loss I need to work harder to win the next game and not only improve myself but help improve the team. Thank you!!
