Ava Gerrish '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old, and ever since then I was in love with the sport. I am very dedicated to this sport, and am always welcoming new feedback from different coaches. Playing in college has always been my dream, and something I have always had in the back of mind, while I was playing games or practicing.  I am the type of player that plays to win, and if I make a mistake I will study that mistake, so it won't happen again.  Recently, I have been watching a lot of college softball games on tv, to study what they do in every situation both offensively and defensively. I not only study the game of softball, but I also work really hard to keep my grades up in school. I know that if I want to be on a good college softball team, I also need to have good grades, and work hard to receive them. I am really looking forward to the next few high school seasons, and hoping to continue my softball journey playing college softball.
