I've played several sports since I was very young, however, softball remains my passion. I have remained consistent in improving my skills over the past several years and am looking forward to continuing to play the game as a college athlete. As a leader on my team, I help to keep my teammates motivated through my own personal enthusiasm and positive attitude. There have been times when difficult games can easily affect players' moods negatively, but I have learned to step in and keep them focused on the next play. My empathy and compassion for others makes me a genuine friend and teammate. I take my academics very seriously. Being successful in the classroom is important for my future long after I'm done playing softball.
