I love softball! I started playing softball at a very young age and have wanted to play competitively in college for several years. I have always played up and on club teams which allowed me to learn from the older, more experienced players. Because of this my skills and mental abilities greatly improved. I was made to feel welcome by the older girls and this taught me how important feeling included is on a team. I am now a captain on an 18A National club team and I make sure that everyone is welcomed and a part of the team. Mentoring the younger girls is very important to me and I really enjoy helping them. I have balanced playing club softball and my academics and currently have a 3.7 GPA. While playing softball in college I want to pursue an education and career in health care.
