Personal Statement

I believe that i would be a good candidate for a college team because first off i have a love for softball that is pretty hard for me to explain but as a player I am always asking questions, asking what i can improve on, trying to get better, and right now I am even leading by example for my team. I know that every player usually says basic things like this but i will work as hard as I can to get to where I want to play for the level I am hoping to play in the future. I am a very smart player, I usually make in the moment choices that end up helping the team. I will not deny, I do get mad at myself sometimes but I am working to get better at that because softball is a mental game. I love college classes, I am even taking some now so I believe that in college I wont necessarily have a huge problem with that. Even though I might not be the greatest student, I love softball enough, that I will do anything to keep playing the game I love. Lastly on the field, stays on the field with me. I don't carry all the baggage that happens in a game with me. I am not scared of getting hurt, i will dive, claw, and even run into a fence to get the out. So this is why I believe I am different from other recruits and am a good candidate for a college softball team. My goals and aspirations are to hopefully go to college for softball and criminal justice and end up going to the Olympics for softball. Sadly if that doesn't work out, I hope to end up working as an FBI field agent. I really want to become the best person and teammate for any team I end up on. Thank you for your time.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
