Hello my name is Gracie Calloway I go to North Caroline High school I’m currently in 10th grade and I will graduate in 2024. My goal is to go to college and either go into law or social work. I love helping people. I feel like I’m great when it comes to advice with others , I’m not perfect but I try my best to always be there for others in need.
Im a great listener and I tend to pick up on things quickly. I favor being active in my education , my grades are always A’s and B’s. Right now Im taking Homeland security and emergency prep in school, that class has 4 courses and I just started my 1st course of it and I will finish my last course my junior year. That class basically helps me with the career I wanna take upon. Learning all the aspects of law.
Ive been playing softball for about 9 years. I can play almost about anywhere, my main positions though are catcher , 3rd base and outfield, mainly right. What I love about catching is that i love being able to view the whole field , and being a leader, I want to be a leader that others can depend on when we need a throwing out or when I need to call the perfect pitch.
I started playing when I was six and I just loved everything about it. I started out playing coach pitch but then around 10 I started playing travel. And throughout the years I grown more attached to softball, and progressed. Softball is apart of me, not only do I love playing the sport I like being a team player I’m always there to hype up my girls and make them laugh and I always try my best to make everyone smile around me. I think that’s one of the things I like most about the sport is that you can meet new people and create great bonds with them , I consider every team I’ve been on and the team I’m with now family and I love to add more and more to that family.
I believe that I’ve grown a lot with the sport , I love feedback on anything that could possibly improve myself and make me the best player I can be. I am currently 15 playing up on a 18u team. I would love nothing more than to continue playing the sport I love and continue my education.
