I have been playing softball since I was 5, it is what I love to do and I cannot picture my life without this sport. I am athletic and enjoy competition, so I also play volleyball, indoor track, and softball on the high school teams, all while practicing with my travel softball team. I am different from other recruits because my speed allows me to cover a lot of ground in the outfield and get to the ball super fast. Running indoor track has helped me to learn how to increase my speed and has given me the confidence and ability to be a base-running threat to my competitors. I always step on the base with the next one in mind. With my speed and strength, I am able to get to the ball quickly and get it in fast. I also am determined and hard-working. I am always in shape and even if there is a break between the seasons, I take working out and practicing into my own hands. I never give up and always push myself as hard as I can, and even harder. I've maintained honor roll status through all my athletic seasons while taking Honors classes. I am always there for my teammates when they need me as I feel the need to lift them up when they are down. For example, after one of my other outfields makes an error, I run over to them and pass on a word of encouragement. I also am a great leader as I always lead with positivity and make sure things are under control at practice or in a game. It is my ultimate goal to get a good education while playing softball at the collegiate level.
