My name is Payton Rano. I am a senior at Auburn High School, Auburn Massachusetts. I made varsity my freshman year and am now currently playing for the Mass Rapids Gold. I am 5’9 and my primary position is First base. My secondary position is Pitcher, but I can play anywhere that I am needed. I love playing softball because you are on a team that makes life full of fun experiences and memories, but it also builds character and teamwork. I look up to those who are more experienced on the team to help me improve my own skills. I am always looking for new ways to improve and help me reach my goal of playing in college.
Softball has always been a big part of my life. Ever since I watched my older sister play softball, I knew that I wanted to be just like her. I am so happy that I decided to play because it has shown me that I am very determined and outgoing. I am very excited to play with the Mass Rapids Gold because we are traveling farther and going to to bigger tournaments than I did with my previous team. This will help me take the next step in playing competitive softball and help me get better. I am always trying to do my best whether it’s at home, in the classroom, or on the field.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. Payton Rano.
