Coaches, Thank you for viewing my profile. I knew at age eight softball was my sport and I’ve played three seasons each year since. I have been the starting catcher of my high school varsity softball team since freshman year and also catch and play outfield with a travel club and a summer league. I am a strong athlete and stronger student with a 4.0 GPA. I approach softball as I do my academics: I work hard, set high goals for my performance, and I’m always striving to improve my knowledge and skills.
I am a natural leader and I believe this is why I was drawn to the position of Catcher. I am the Team Manager of the girls varsity volleyball team and volunteer my time in the community. In softball, my leadership as team Captain shows in my positive attitude and strong connections I make with my teammates, encouraging them to be the best athletes and team players they can be.
My goals for college are continuous improvement of my softball skills and to be challenged academically. I look forward to bringing my skills, passion, leadership, and strong work ethic to your program. With my commitment to constant improvement and drive for success, I am excited to have a positive impact on your program.
