My name is Hannah Burton, a class of 2022 student at East Bridgewater High School in Massachusetts. I fell in love with softball when I was little throwing with my dad in the yard. He knew that I had a strong arm, but my throws were all over the place! We worked together - throwing a football to correct my form - and I found that my arm was my greatest strength. In the nearly eight years that I have played, I learned that softball is a team sport and I enjoy supporting my teammates through the ups and downs and always strive to put a bad game, a strikeout in a big situation or an error in perspective. I am vocal on and off the field and show dedication throughout every game. I am eager to continue my softball career at the college level.
