Sophie Halverson ...Personal Statement
I am a Junior at east bridgewater high school with a graduation year of 2017. I am a 6'1" tall first basemen primarily. I also play outfield and 3rd base. I played on my schools JV team as an 8th grader. Starting firstbaseman on the varsity softball team for the last two years. I would love to continue to play softball in college and continue my education in the field I decide to follow. Hopefully I can find a college that has both the education and athletics that I desire.
I have been playing softball since a very young age and currently play for The Mass Drifters Gold Showcase team. I will continue to train and practice to improve my skills and to get to where I can compete at the next level.
I am a member of the National Honor Society. Education is important and at this moment I enjoy my math classes the most.
