Jiana Fougere '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi.  My name is JiJi (Jiana) Fougere.  I am in the class of '22 at Tri-County regional Vocational Technical High School.  I play softball and have done so since I was in Kindergarten.  I'm a good student with a good GPA (4.00 weighted GPA and am 24th in my class of 236 students) and I was named to the National Honor Society in November of 2020 and I want to continue studying engineering or a related subject in college.

I hit lefty and make good contact, but can also bunt and slap.  Most recently I hit .722 in JV (13 hits in 18 ABs with 6 walks, 6 RBIs and 9 Runs Scored) and .500 (in just a few games) for Varsity at Tri-County Regional HS this Spring.  I recently hit .375 this Fall in U18 competition driving in 8 runs and scoring 8 in six games hitting 2nd.  I had 8 singles, a double and an OB% of .464 with 3 walks.  I play 2nd, RF, LF and also have played SS and Catcher,  but I am happy to play anywhere a coach wants me.  Last summer I played 3rd, SS, 2nd and OF and hit .308 for Medway 18U.

My other sports in HS include Cross Country, Volleyball and Basketball.  I just finished up my Cross country season and set many Personal Records and am going to participate in indoor track this winter.  I train with a hitting coach and work out with a trainer.  I am looking forward to starting College in the Fall of 2022 and want to also continue playing softball.
