My name is Cecelia Pekarcik and I am a catcher/outfielder from Brewster, Massachusetts. Living on Cape Cod has absolutely affected my softball experience. I've gained some of my best friends from playing softball in the small Cape community. Without my team and without softball I'm not sure where I would be. I have learned great leadership skills and my team always counts on me to bring fun and positivity to the field. At the end of the day, my team is my family and I hope to find a bond at the collegiate level that is similar to the one I have with my Cape Cod Chaos team.
Outside of softball, I am a varsity volleyball player and a member of the National Honor Society at my high school. Playing softball almost year round and participating in other activities such as those has taught me how to balance my time, energy, and education. I am very proud of myself for doing as well as I do academically and I hope to find a college that can support my education as well allow me to pursue my love for softball. I am very interested in Criminology, Forensics, and Psychology and would like to make those a focus for selecting my major.
