The first time I picked up a bat and put a glove on my hand was when I was three years old. To be completely honest, my interest in the game came from loving to play in the dirt when I was young. Ever since then I grew up to love the game and I never stopped playing. Softball has always been my getaway from my day to day life. When I have a long day of school in the spring, softball is my motivation to get through the day whether it be a game or practice after school. My drive to become a better person and athlete is unbreakable. I work just as hard in the winter and fall as I do in the spring and summer months/seasons.
This sport has been the most influential part of my life to this day. I have learned so much about who I am and who I strive to be. Softball has brought out my hard work ethic, my leadership skills, and my drive to never give up no matter the difficulty of the situation. I am always positive on and off the field. I would contribute very well to your program by always putting my heart for the game on my sleeve and constantly giving my 100%. Being a captain as a junior for my high school team, I believe that I can be a leader on your team as well as getting along with all teammates. I always put my teammates before myself and I am always there to pick them up. I am looking for a school that challenges me both academically and athletically. I am very adaptable and excel in any environment, situation, or position and I believe that I will thrive at any college that fits me best.
