As the youngest of 4, I grew up in a very competitive household that always strives to do our very best to get the job done. It doesn't matter how good or bad things get on the field, I always have a smile on my face! At the age of 2, I opened my first softball bat and glove. I sat in anticipation on the bench watching my siblings, waiting for my time to shine while eating candy and nachos, of course. Around 8 years old I decided I wanted to be a pitcher to take after my role model, my sister. When I am not with my team, my mom is my favorite catcher because she is constantly pushing me to do better and to do my best. Pitching at home helps me to continue building my stamina and strength so that I can pitch multiple games in a day.
Aside from the typical teenage things of school, sports, and working, I enjoy being with my plethora of animals at home. From chickens, to dogs, cats and even a pig, I am always learning new ways to care for them to make future self better.
