Hello my name is Shylah Rivers and I will be a 2023 graduate. I recently started my softball career in the summer of 2022. I have had a desire to play since my freshman year but have not had the opportunity due to the pandemic and my school not having a sports program (it is a performing arts school). In my short amount of time playing organized softball, I have gained a good amount of knowledge of the game. I’m a team player, I work hard and take advantage of every opportunity. I will continue to enhance my skills and take part of any opportunity that I have to play throughout my senior year.
Academically I have maintained a 3.5 GPA and above. I am apart of the National Society of High School Scholars and my school’s honor roll. I want to pursue the field of Kinesiology in college. My love for all sports has led me to this choice. I would love to attend a college where I can grow on and off the field.
